A Message from the President
When my father Harry began Rochester Cassette back in 1991 upon his retirement as an account manager for Eastman Kodak Company, he knew there was a need for quality x-ray cassette repair. He thought that filling this need would keep him busy in his basement for a few hours a day. It wasn't long before the demand for his services prompted him to bring me on board and teach me the x-ray business from the bottom up. He still shakes his head in amazement when he stops to think about how far we've come. Today, we are a multimillion dollar business employing 14 people, housed in a state of the art 9,000 square foot building serving customers worldwide.
While the nature of x-ray imaging has changed dramatically over the past 17 years with the shift from analog to digital, one thing has remained constant – our commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Our standard back in 1991 was that we would not ship a repair or product out our door that we would not be willing to be radiographed with ourselves. That still holds true today.
In January, 2010 we became ISO 9001:2008 certified and put in place a quality system that ensures that no matter where in the world you may be, you can rely on a constant level of excellent quality and customer service. ISO 9001:2008 touches every aspect of our business and enables us to constantly monitor our internal processes to ultimately guarantee our customers the best repairs, products and services available anywhere.
Harry never envisioned how fast Rochester Cassette would grow, and he certainly never imagined the massive change in the imaging industry that has occurred over the last five years or more. While analog cassettes and ID cameras are becoming a thing of the past, we have repositioned our company and our core products now include grids, grid encasement devices, digital imaging plates and other related products. Of course, our technicians are trained in the repair of most brands of digital cassettes.
As Rochester Cassette continues to grow and change, some things remain the same. You will be happy with our repair services and products or we will make it right. When you call us you will talk to a live person, not an automated attendant. If you have a special imaging need, talk to us and we'll help you to fill that need. Please let us be your partner in imaging excellence and thank you in advance for your business and consideration.
